VALLEY CITY (AP) — Qwest is working to restore phone service by afternoon to more than 100 Valley City customers who lost it Monday night.

The service was knocked out when a city truck struck a telephone line.

Qwest officials say blizzard conditions prevented repair crews from getting to Valley City until late Wednesday afternoon.
