Hazen came in with a single-round best 335 and an overall score of 689 to win its second straight state championship. While the Bison didn’t have anybody in the top 10, they had four consistent efforts. Jinny Miller and Kara Dietz both shot 171s to tie for 11th place while Steph Seibel and Samantha Skinner shot 174s, good for 15th place.
The Bison edged runner-up Kindred by 12 strokes. Napoleon’s Amber Piatz earned medalist honors, beating Hatton-Northwood’s Abby Knutson in a playoff after both players shot 158s.
