BERLIN — Trevor Barry, a Dickinson State alumnus from the Bahamas, fell short of making the finals in the high jump at the IAAF World Athletics Championships on Friday at Olympic Stadium.
BERLIN — Trevor Barry, a Dickinson State alumnus from the Bahamas, fell short of making the finals in the high jump at the IAAF World Athletics Championships on Friday at Olympic Stadium.
Barry missed the qualifying leap of 7 feet, 5½ inches in the high jump.
Barry cleared 7 feet, 4¼ inches in one attempt but fell short in all three attempts at 7-5½.
The final former DSU athlete competing at the World Championships is Ramon Miller, who is a member of the Bahamas 1,600-meter relay team that runs its heat at 12:15 p.m. Saturday. If they advance to the finals, those are at 10:15 a.m. Sunday.
