SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Pheasant hunters flying into Sioux Falls are getting a warm welcome.
Officials with the Convention and Visitors Bureau and local businesses are holding a welcoming event at the Sioux Falls airport today.
It's the 16th year for the event, which provides hunters with refreshments and a gift as well as information on lodging, restaurants and city attractions.
A 79-day hunting season for residents and nonresidents opens Saturday.
