There are still spots open for the Rocky Carson Racquetball Clinic being held Saturday at the West River Community Center.
Wilson McLaughlin, a recreation and facility Specialist for Dickinson Parks and Recreation, said although space is limited, there are still both adult and youth spots available and the public is invited to watch the clinics and Carson, one of the top-rated racquetball players in the world.
The 30-year-old professional won a silver medal at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan and was the 2008 world champion.
“This could be a once in a while chance for someone to do this,” McLaughlin said.
Carson will be giving group youth and adult lessons both Saturday morning and afternoon and is available for private sessions.
Those interested have until the WRCC closes on Friday to sign up.
Call the WRCC or Parks and Rec at 701-456-2070 for more information.
