Bodies of man, woman found in northeast N.D. home
WALHALLA (AP) — Pembina County authorities say the bodies of a man and woman have been found dead in a Walhalla home.
The sheriff’s office says deputies were dispatched to the home after a 911 call at about 3 a.m. Thursday.
Chief Deputy Sheriff Jeff Osvold says the names of the two dead people are not being released, pending notification of family members. Other information, including their ages, their relationship or how they died, also is not being released.
He says the bodies have been sent to Bismarck for autopsies.
The state Bureau of Criminal Investigation is helping local authorities with the investigation.
Walhalla is in the northeast corner of North Dakota.
