Geiss to compete in national tournament
Glen Ullin 6-year-old Gehrig Geiss has been selected to compete in the U.S. Kids Golf Copperhead Classic National Tournament on Jan. 17-18 at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Tampa, Fla.

The invitation-only tournament is for the world’s top 25 players ages 6 and under. More than 400 golfers ages 6-14 will play in the event.
Geiss qualified for the tournament with his second-place finish at the USKG Minnesota Championship and third-place finish in the USKG Nebraska Championship in June 2009.
Innisbrook is home to the PGA tour Transitions Championship each March and hosts the Senior PGA and LPGA Q-schools.
