Letter: Long hours appreciated

I wish to thank the Rural Electric Co. office staff, warehouse workers and linemen for working long hours to restore power to our homes. To those dedicated lineman enduring the worst conditions that Mother Nature can hand out, thank you for sacrificing your time away from your families in order for people to have the convenience of electricity. Please forgive those few individuals who felt it was your fault that their electricity was not restored sooner. May God Bless you, your families and your company for your outstanding work during these difficult times.

To the public, the next time the lights go out remember in every condition there are men and women working to restore power. Take the time to thank the men and women working in our communities restoring power to our homes and businesses.
