Mark and Maxine Peterson announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Karla Kaye Kristianson to Daniel Joseph Smith.
Kristianson, also the daughter of the late Larry Kristianson, is a graduate of Bowbells High School and the University of North Dakota Aerospace of Grand Forks. She is employed as a pilot by Northwest/Delta Airlines in Detroit, Mich.
Smith is the son of Mark Smith and Connie Arbrogast, and Brian and Arlene Bragg, all of Huntington, W.Va.
He is a graduate of Spring Valley High School and attended Marshall University, both in Huntington, W.Va. He is employed as a pilot by ExpressJet Airlines in Cleveland.
The wedding is 6 p.m. on Friday, May 21, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bowbells. The reception and dance will immediately follow at Bowbells City Hall. No invitations are necessary to attend.
