Three Titans picked to play in Badlands Bowl

Three Dickinson Trinity seniors were selected Monday to play in this summer’s Badlands Bowl all-star football game between North Dakota and Montana.

Three Dickinson Trinity seniors were selected Monday to play in this summer’s Badlands Bowl all-star football game between North Dakota and Montana.

The three Titans selected were Aaron Grinsteiner, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound quarterback/ defensive back, Austin Fridrich, a 6-3, 230-pound offensive tackle/defensive end, and Michael Mortenson, a 6-3, 250-pound offensive tackle/defensive tackle.

Bismarck High led the state with six nominations.

After a two-year absence, the game is back in Dickinson and is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, June 19 at the Badlands Activities Center.
