Former ND Gov. Link dies

BISMARCK (AP) — Arthur Link, a former North Dakota congressman, legislator and governor for eight years, has died.

BISMARCK (AP) — Arthur Link, a former North Dakota congressman, legislator and governor for eight years, has died.

Family spokesman Bob Valeu says Link died Tuesday morning at a Bismarck hospital from natural causes. He was 96.

Link was North Dakota’s governor from 1973 to 1980. He also served in the state House for 24 years and in Congress.
