The primary election is Tuesday and Stark County voting centers are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., said Kay Haag, Stark County deputy auditor.

The primary election is Tuesday and Stark County voting centers are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., said Kay Haag, Stark County deputy auditor.

Vote centers are in Dickinson at the Days Hotel, the Armory and Lady J’s Catering; Belfield City Hall; Richardton American Legion.

Early voting will continue at the Stark County Courthouse Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Haag said.

She expects results to be totaled by 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Voters don’t have to register, but must bring identification to voting centers, Haag said. Otherwise, they must sign an affidavit, which includes a name, address and signature, vouching that the voter has lived in county for the past 30 days. Anyone who has lived in the county for at least 30 days can vote here.

The election is a primary and only city candidates and issues will be final Tuesday, Haag said.

“All state, district and county officers, and U.S. senators and members of the U.S. House of Representatives, those will go to the general (election),” Haag said.

The general election is Nov. 2, she added.
