Brenda Green of Fort Collins, Colo., and Jim Stevens, Hot Springs, S.D., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Stevens, to Ross Daniel Walker, son of Larry and Nancy Walker of Killdeer.
Stevens is a 2004 graduate of Fort Collins High School, Fort Collins, Colo. She attended Arizona State University and graduated in the spring of 2008 with a bachelor’s in kinesiology, and in the winter of 2009 graduated with a M.Ed. in elementary education. She is currently competing as a professional track and field athlete.
Walker is a 2001 graduate of Killdeer High School, Killdeer, and a 2007 graduate of Dickinson State University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education in biology and composite science. He teaches biology and coaches football and track and field at Desert Vista High School in Ahwatukee, Ariz.
The couple will be married Saturday in Fort Collins.
