BISMARCK (AP) — A new report says North Dakota is once again tops in the nation in highway performance and cost-effectiveness.
BISMARCK (AP) — A new report says North Dakota is once again tops in the nation in highway performance and cost-effectiveness.
The California-based libertarian-leaning group the Reason Foundation says North Dakota has ranked first every year since 2001.
The group has been doing the annual survey for nearly two decades. It ranks each state’s interstate highways and state-controlled roads in 11 categories, including costs per mile, congestion, pavement condition, deficient bridges and fatalities.
