Hydrochloric acid hauled away, truck upright

A trailer carrying hydrochloric acid that flipped this morning is now upright and all of the acid has been hauled off, according to city officials.

A trailer carrying hydrochloric acid that flipped this morning is now upright and all of the acid has been hauled off, Dickinson officials said.

Emergency crews said this morning that hydrochloric acid was leaking from a trailer that flipped near Interstate 94 near Exit 64 in Dickinson. They said there were no injuries.

A section of the interstate was closed briefly, along with a portion of Highway 10.

The city is holding a press conference regarding the incident this afternoon.
