Dickinson Police Department Chief Rummel announces retirement

Dickinson Police Department Chief Chuck Rummel announced his retirement today.

His retirement is effective March 1, he said. He has been with the department for nearly 33 years and chief for six years.

He said he is staying until March to assist in hiring a new chief. The department hopes to hire someone internally.
