Beach girls remain No. 1 team in Class B basketball

For the 13th consecutive Class B girls basketball North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association poll, Beach is the unanimous No. 1-ranked team.

The Buccaneers (5-0) host Beulah at 7 p.m. today.

Killdeer (4-1) received votes but lost to Hettinger 41-38 on Monday.

In the boys poll, Beulah (8-0) stayed at No. 4 while North Star unseated Fargo Oak Grove, claiming the No. 1 spot by two voting points. The teams had tied for No. 1 in last week’s poll.

Dickinson Trinity (5-1) made its first appearance of the season in the boys poll, checking in at No. 10.

New England (5-1) dropped out of the No. 10 spot but received votes.
