The Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan is making one of its first stops of the year in Dickinson.
Members of the Twins organization, including manager Ron Gardenhire, are scheduled to make a stop at Prairie Hills Mall at 2:30 p.m. Monday for a 45-minute public program near JC Penney.
Catcher Drew Butera, pitcher Jeff Manship, hitting coach Joe Vavra and radio broadcaster Kris Atteberry are scheduled to be at the Winter Caravan stop, along with mascot TC Bear.
Due to time constraints, there will not be an autograph session. Though there will be a drawing for kids and Goal Line Sports will be giving away other Twins items.
Monday’s Winter Caravan begins in Rapid City, S.D., stops in Dickinson and continues on to Bismarck. The Caravan continues Tuesday in Jamestown, Valley City and Fargo and stops in Grand Forks on Wednesday.
Clear Channel Communications, which is the Twins’ official broadcast partner in southwest North Dakota, is sponsoring the event.
