BEULAH — Dickinson Trinity wanted to start the District 14 girls basketball championship game the right way Monday night at the Beulah High School gymnasium.
The top-seeded Titans did that and kept on cruising, defeating No. 3 seed Beulah 61-26.
“The girls did a great job, they played all four quarters with great intensity,” Dickinson Trinity coach Alysia Barman said. “They kept attacking the hoop and put a complete game together. We were proud of their effort.”
Trinity’s Mackenzie Glasser led the way with a game-high 20 points.
The senior guard made all six of the Titans’ 3-pointers.
“She gets things started for us on the defensive end, and she really got all her shots offensively too,” Barman said.
Junior center Nikki Grinsteinner added 16 points and had team highs of 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Katie Kovash had 17 points. She and Glasser each had five steals.
