Locals, DSU recruits to play in Badlands Bowl

Three local players have been selected to play in Badlands Bowl XVIII, the annual all-star football game between North Dakota and Montana.

Levi Keck and Nate Moody of Dickinson High and Adam Woroniecki from Richardton-Taylor-Hebron will represent Team North Dakota.

Keck, a 6-foot, 315-pound lineman, and Moody, a 6-3, 190-pound receiver and safety, were both Class 3A all-state first team selections.

Woroniecki, a 6-2, 180-pound tailback and defensive back, was a 9-man all-state first team selection and is the school’s all-time leading rusher.

Keck has signed a letter of intent to play for Dickinson State. Moody will walk on at North Dakota State. Woroniecki has signed with the University of Mary.

DSU recruit Meyer Bohn, a 6-foot, 225-pound linebacker from Bismarck Century, is also on Team North Dakota.

Chris Kurkowski, a 6-4, 225-pound tight end from Miles City, Mont., is also a DSU recruit and will represent Team Montana.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, June 18 at Denton Field in Miles City.
