Boy Scouts, National Guard collect food for Amen Food Pantry
National Guard Sgt. Michael Elkins speaks with Ian Graves and Jonathan Olsen about their mission to collect non-perishable food items for the Scouting for Food event held Saturday in Dickinson. The National Guard assisted Cub Scout Pack 112 by providing transportation in HMMWVs (high mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicles), more commonly known as Humvees, at the request of pack leader Chuck Olsen. The Scouting for Food program is a food drive the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts do every year, the food collected Saturday will go to Amen Food Pantry in Dickinson.
