WILLISTON (AP) — Officials are looking for help from the public in solving a North Dakota poaching case in which 18 antelope were shot and left dead or dying.

It happened Feb. 12 in the Trenton and Buford area of northwest North Dakota near the Montana border.

A state Game and Fish Department spokesman told the Williston Herald that information about the case was not immediately released to keep from jeopardizing the investigation.

The Report All Poachers program offers financial rewards for information that leads to a conviction in poaching cases.
