3 sets of twin calves born on ND ranch
WILLISTON (AP) — Williston rancher Jim Buraw has raised cattle for a quarter-century and never had a cow that produced twins.
WILLISTON (AP) — Williston rancher Jim Buraw has raised cattle for a quarter-century and never had a cow that produced twins.
The Williston Herald reports that the streak has ended.
Buraw told the newspaper that he recently discovered three sets of twin calves born within five days. The Herald says twin calves usually occur once in every 1,000 cattle births.
