Gymnasts compete at USA Region 4 championships

DES MOINES, Iowa — Dickinson Gymnastics Club gymnasts Shalesa Wariner and Acacia Fossum competed at the USA Gymnastics Region 4 championships over the weekend.

Fossum, 12, finished 28th in the Level 9 Junior A division. She had a 34.000 all-around score. Her best event was the balance beam. She had an 8.625.

Shalesa Wariner, 17, finished 20th in the Level 8 Senior division. She had a 34.975 all-around score and was 11th in the vault with a 9.025.
