SOUTH HEART — Brothers Gary and Jayme Praus wanted to give the community a local place to purchase trailers. They recently opened

I-DEAL TRAILERS in downtown South Heart.

“We enjoy working with people in the community and there’s definitely a greater demand for different types of trailers with the expanded people coming to the area,” Jayme Praus said.

The business offers “good quality trailers at a competitive price,” he added.

“The South Heart area needs a trailer business,” Gary Praus said. “There’s a lot of farmers and oil activity around here now and it helps the community here.”

Both live in Dickinson but graduated from South Heart High School.

“It’s a good community,” Jayme Praus said. “There’s a lot of opportunity in this southwestern part with the oil boom.”

Their father, Ernie Praus, helps with the business, since he runs Heart River Auto out of the same location.

Gary Praus said it’s the “perfect spot” for the business since it offers enough space for their office and inventory.

Trailers available at the business can be used for oilfield, recreation and construction purposes.

“Anything that needs a flat-bed trailer, we’ve got them on hand right now,” Gary Praus said.

I-DEAL TRAILERS offers a variety of options including ATV trailers, utility trailers and tandem dually goosenecks.

“Most of our trailers come with a spare tire with mounts, loading support jacks and electric break axels — front and rear,” Jayme Praus said. “Our trailers are backed by a one-year warranty, two years on the axels.”

They also have LED lighting on their trailers.

Enclosed dump trailers may soon be added to their options, Gary Praus added.

“We’re looking into getting a Dickinson location in the near future, also,” Jayme Praus said.

The brothers can also customize trailers for their customers.

“If you come to the lot and you see something on these trailers that you want different, we can work on getting it,” Gary Praus said.

I-DEAL TRAILERS is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

To contact the Prauses, call Jayme at 701-290-5574 or Gary at 701-290-4006.

“We take phone calls at any time and we can show them at any time,” Jayme Praus said. “There will always be someone available to show them if somebody needs it.”

It’s located at 102 Fourth St. NW in South Heart.

“We look forward to serving the community,” Jayme Praus said.
