DSU’s Magstadt wins 400 hurdles at Howard Wood Relays

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Dickinson State freshman Nathan Magstadt won the 400-meter hurdles at the prestigious Howard Wood Relays on Saturday.

The Dickinson native clocked a national-qualifying time of 53.47 seconds for the win and finished second in the 110 hurdles with a 14.72.

DSU senior Ismael Arzola finished just shy of a school record in the 1,500 meters, running a fourth-place time of 3:57.73.

Cordero Bonamy was second in the 100 meters with a time of 10.78. Michael Sands was seventh in 10.97.

Dominic Collie was third in the 200 meters with a time of 21.99. He was eighth in the 800 (50.10).
