Southwest North Dakota is under a high wind warning through this evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Expect a very strong southeast wind from Beach and Medora through Dickinson, Bowman and Hettinger, according to the service.
Sustained speeds will be up to 45 mph and gusts should reach between 55 and 60 mph.
