Paul picks up season’s first win
Defending Southwest Speedway IMCA Modifieds champion Eric Paul won his first feature race of the season Saturday night.

The Dickinson drive held off a huge and talented field to claim the victory.
Spencer Wilson and John Gartner, two of western North Dakota’s top Modified drivers but non-regulars at the rural Dickinson race track, came in second and third, respectively.
Dickinson’s Travis Ulmer was less than a second ahead of Zach Frederick.
Zach Johnson hit speeds of more than 68 miles an hour to win the DART Late Model Series 40-lap feature race. Johnson edged Pat Doar.
Roy Erickson won the Pure Stocks feature despite not finishing in his heat race.
Gladstone’s Kendall Booke won his heat and his feature race in the Thunder 4’s.
The next races are scheduled for Saturday, June 25.
