Back-to-back state champions

    Courtesy Photo The Dickinson 12-year-olds won their second consecutive Cal Ripken baseball state championship over the weekend, winning all four games at their state tournament in West Fargo. They defeated Devils Lake, Bismarck, Minot and beat Grand Forks 8-5 in the championship. Front row, left to right: Eli Jung, Jersey Martin, Cameron Jorda, Braden Current, Chase Ballard, Mike Herauf and Tanner Ouellette. The team now moves on to the Midwest Regional Tournament in Baxter, Minn. It is scheduled for July 27 through Aug. 1.
