Storm causes cancelation of Relay for Life

They had planned on participating in the Relay for Life of Stark County, but early in the event a series of severe thunderstorms that produced tornadoes, flash flooding, dangerous lightning and hail swept through western North Dakota, delaying and eventually canceling the event. Participants are returning today to help with clean up. As of press time, county emergency managers had not reported any severe weather-related damage.
