Report released today shows about 180 people enrolled as Dickinson State University students without their knowledge

An internal review of Dickinson State University’s enrollment released this afternoon shows about 180 people were registered as students in the fall without their consent or knowledge.

The issue came to the forefront when people questioned the North Dakota University System as to why they were being surveyed for a report meant for DSU students when they were not enrolled there, according to the report released to The Dickinson Press.

“Those responsible have compromised the integrity and validity of the campus fall enrollment data that is reported to the system office housed in ConnectND and reported nationally to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System as required by federal regulations,” according to the report compiled by the NDUS.
