Dickinson wants the public to restrict water use to a bare minimum due to a waterline break.

The city hopes to have the line repaired by Friday, according to a press release issued this afternoon.

All Southwest Water customers in the Dickinson area, as well as all residents in city limits connected to the public water system will be affected, according to the release.

The city asks residents refrain from watering gardens or lawns until the problem is resolved.
