Letter: Sentinel Butte resident proud to call ND home

Linda, yes, it is shameful how some people are raising the rent in Dickinson and surrounding area (as stated in a Saturday letter to the editor, “Ashamed to be from North Dakota”).

You are right, it is pure greed. I’m sorry your mother is one who is suffering from others’ self-indulgence.

It may be legally right, but it is morally wrong. But to group all North Dakotans in this matter is unfair and untrue.

Ninety-nine percent of us are hard working, God fearing, caring people that don’t believe in making money at someone else’s expense.

I love being from North Dakota and I am still proud to call it home!
