Midgets race in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Dickinson cross country teams got a taste of running outside of North Dakota on Friday as the Midgets competed at the Rapid City Invitational.

The Midget boys were without top-runner Vlad Kutka. The boys felt his absence, too, placing 12th. Freshman Jackson Binstock led Dickinson with an 18th-place time of 17 minutes, 22 seconds.

Dickinson’s girls placed sixth with 179 points. Laramie, Wyo., won the invite with 70. Emily Tyrrell led the Midgets with a 20th-place time of 16:39.
