Dunn County Planning Commission hearing to focus on traffic, housing, water

The Dunn County Planning Commission is hosting a public hearing at 7 tonight regarding an updated comprehensive plan.

Proposed updates include an approach to managing development and a vision for turning oil development into an asset, according to a press release from the county.

The plan establishes goals for the county and provides guidance on land development, including subdivision regulations, traffic safety, truck parking, housing costs and availability, emergency service needs, water supply, industrial and man camp siting, and impacts on ranching.

The hearing is at the Dunn County Courthouse, 205 Owens St., Manning.
