Privratskys celebrate anniversary in Oregon

Victor W. and Elsie R. (Franchuk) Privratsky, Lebanon, Ore., celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reception on Sunday, hosted by their children in the Eagles Lodge, Albany.

Others in attendance from the original wedding party were Marlene and Stanley Steffan, Dickinson, and Jerry Privratsky, New Prague, Minn.

The couple was married Nov. 23, 1961, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, New Hradec, with Rev. L.C. Brydl officiating.

Victor served in the Army from 1962-1966. He worked for American Can Paper Mill from 1968 to 2002.

Elsie worked at the Western Kraft Albany Paper Mill from 1970 to 1999.

Throughout their married life, the couple lived at Browns Mills, N.J.; Anchorage, Alaska; Boonville, Mo.; Fort Ord, Calif.; Albany, Ore.; Shedd, Ore.; Brownsville, Ore.; and Lebanon, Ore.

Their five children are: Keith Privratsky, Canoga Park, Calif.; Perry Privratsky and Leon Privratsky, Lebanon, Ore.; Karen Weber and Chad Privratsky, Albany, Ore.

Their grandchildren are Trase Privratsky, Taryn Privratsky; Michelle Weber, Brittany Weber, Tance Privratsky, Tamen Privratsky, Devin Privratsky and Alexia Privratsky. The three great-grandchildren are Jackson Privratsky, Taiya Privratsky and Dayson Privratsky.
