Crash claims Sentinel Butte woman near Billings
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol said a 53-year old North Dakota woman was killed when her car struck a deer and then hit a guardrail on Interstate 94 east of Billings.
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol said a 53-year old North Dakota woman was killed when her car struck a deer and then hit a guardrail on Interstate 94 east of Billings.
The patrol said the woman, who was identified as Sheila Rieman, of Sentinel Butte, was westbound at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday when her car hit a deer. The car then went off the road and struck a guardrail near the median. The guardrail went through the driver’s side of the car and hit Rieman, pinning her in her car.
The woman died at the scene.
