The North Dakota Game and Fish Department says the state's fisher trapping season has closed.

In a news release, the department says the state's quota was met when the 10th fisher was caught on Friday, the fifth day of the season.

Only North Dakota residents were able to take part in the season.

The open area for trapping was east of Highway 281 and North Dakota Highway 4.
