GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — U.S. Sen. John Hoeven plans to meet with local and military officials at the Grand Forks Air Force Base on Tuesday morning to plan for the future of the unmanned aerial systems program.
The North Dakota Republican has said that Grand Forks is on its way to being a hub for the unmanned technology, application and training.
He says the goal now is to make the city the premier northern center for the unmanned aerial systems industry in the U.S.
