BISMARCK — Jacob Volk scored 19 points to lead another balanced outing by the Dickinson Trinity boys basketball team as it defeated Solen-Cannonball 83-37 on Saturday afternoon at the Shiloh Christian New Year Invitational.

Dylan Fridrich had 11 points, 16 rebounds and three steals for the No. 4-ranked Titans (11-0). Austin Gawryluk added 15 points and Mason Schiff had 13.
“We played pretty well down here for two days,” Trinity head coach Gregg Grinsteinner said. “I’m happy. It’s been an all-the-way around team.”
Justin Black Cloud had 12 points to lead the Sioux.
Trinity visits No. 5-ranked Beulah at 6 p.m. MST Tuesday in a District 14 game. The Miners are coming off a 66-63 loss to rival Hazen on Friday.
“Tuesday is going to be fun,” Grinsteinner said. “We’re going to have to handle a hostile crowd. It’s big for seeding.”
