Dickinson man shoots self in leg
A 28-year-old Dickinson man shot himself in the leg Saturday after locking himself in his bedroom and firing a small caliber weapon several times, according to the Dickinson Police Department.

Two witnesses reported the incident, which occurred on 24th Street West, according to the DPD. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Authorities will file a charge of reckless endangerment against the man for firing a weapon in the residence. Further charges may be pending, according to the DPD press release.
