DSU changes decision on Confucius Institute

Dickinson State University announced today it will not implement a Confucius Institute.

Dickinson State University announced today it will not implement a Confucius Institute.

Marie Moe, DSU director of university relations, said due to many changes at the university, it lacks the energy needed to properly establish a Confucius Institute, which would have taught Chinese language, culture and art to DSU students and to the public.

The university was awarded the opportunity in April and was given a year to implement it on campus.

See Thursday's Dickinson Press for more on the story.
