Eight boys basketball players have been nominated for North Dakota's Mr. Basketball honor, awarded annually by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

Five Class B and three Class A players make up the list of nominees.
They are, in alphabetical order:
Mack Arvidson, 6-foot-2 guard, Grand Forks Red River, 19.9 points per game, 6.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2 steals.
Devin Coyle, 5-11 guard, Mandan, 19.7 points, 5.2 rebounds.
Melvin Langstaff, 5-10 guard, Warwick, 38.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.3 steals, 1.8 blocks.
Justin McCloud, 6-2 guard, Bottineau, 24.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.8 steals.
Mike Paulson, 6-5 guard-forward, Hatton-Northwood, 23.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.6 steals.
Tanner Purintun, 6-2 guard Linton-HMB, 21.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 4.3 steals.
Dexter Werner, 6-5 center, Bismarck, 20.2 points, 8.7 rebounds.
Daniel Yale, 6-3 guard-forward, Berthold, 21.5 points, 9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2 blocks, 1.5 steals.
