Minot Ryan rolls past Kindred

Minot Ryan’s freshman frontcourt duo was too much for Kindred here Friday.

Gabbie Bohl and Hannah Stewart, both 6-foot-1, led the Lady Lions to a win against Kindred in the consolation semifinals.

Stewart had 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting and also had 13 rebounds and seven blocks. Bohl was 6-of-10 from the field in scoring 15 points and added four rebounds and two blocks.

Ryan led 12-10, 31-19 and 41-28 at the quarter breaks.

Brooke Graff had 12 points and Braidy Dahl 10 to lead Kindred. More than half of the Vikings’ points came on seven 3-point baskets, four of them by Graff.
