Body found along Minn. railroad tracks ID'd as ND man

MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have identified a body found along railroad tracks in western Minnesota as a 27-year-old North Dakota man.

MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have identified a body found along railroad tracks in western Minnesota as a 27-year-old North Dakota man.

The body of Jared Nilles of Fargo was found between the Clay County towns of Glyndon and Hawley on Monday morning. An autopsy is being done to determine the cause of death.

Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist says authorities are still investigating whether Nilles was a passenger on a train. Amtrak, BNSF Railway and Minnesota's Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are part of the probe.
