Two topics have dominated the North Dakota scene recently — Marilyn Hagerty’s “Eatbeat” review of the Olive Garden Restaurant in Grand Forks and the State Board of Higher Education’s case against the Fighting Sioux law being argued before the Supreme Court. Suddenly, it all comes together!
Seeing feisty Hagerty take it to America, many of us know in our hearts the answer to the namesake question.
In three years, after the moratorium on replacement names has ended, we shall forever be known as the University of North Dakota Eatbeaters.
