The Conservation Reserve Program general signup started on March 12 and ends on April 6. Over 829,000 acres set to expire on Sept. 30.
There will be two informational landowner workshops held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Dickinson at the Elks Lodge No. 1137 and at 1 p.m. in Hettinger at Research Extension Center on 102 Highway 12 West. There will another workshop at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mott at Pheasant Café & Lounge.
