Letter: Maybe stonings, beheadings fitting for tourist town

To the honorable Mayor Doug Ellison of Medora,

Obviously, the good citizens of Medora elected you because of your strong stance on public education and family values.

But, as long as you advocate replicating things that never happened in Medora, why not replicate other events that never happened there?

Wouldn’t it be even more educational to use the Medora amphitheater to replicate the sports arenas in Afghanistan where the public was invited to spend the afternoon cheering and eating snacks as they watched stonings and beheadings?

Thank you for pointing out to the rest of the United States that North Dakotans strive to provide the best for our children.
