Vehicle of slain Bismarck woman found in Fargo
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a vehicle belonging to an 83-year-old woman found slain in her Bismarck home has been recovered in Fargo.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a vehicle belonging to an 83-year-old woman found slain in her Bismarck home has been recovered in Fargo.
Ann Grenstiner's vehicle was found abandoned outside of a bar Wednesday. Deputy Police Chief Dan Donlin says it will be brought back to Bismarck to be processed for evidence.
Authorities believe the vehicle was stolen when Grenstiner was killed. Her niece found her body Tuesday afternoon in a bedroom of the home where Grenstiner lived alone. Police say Grenstiner had "obvious trauma" but no apparent gunshot wounds. An autopsy was completed Wednesday but police did not immediately release details.
Police say there are signs of forced entry to Grenstiner's home They're investigating the death as a homicide. Authorities have questioned two people in Fargo but no arrests have been made.
