No injuries in morning apartment fire in Dickinson
No one was injured after a grease fire started at about 9:45 this morning in a lower level apartment in the Altringer Apartment complex on 11th Avenue West, according to a press release.

The building is adjacent to the campus of Dickinson State University.
Students were evacuated and were allowed back in at 10:45 a.m.
The Dickinson Police Department and the Dickinson Fire Department responded.
A DSU student staff member is credited for first trying to control and extinguish the flames before law enforcement arrived.
The fire was contained to one apartment with some smoke damage on the lower level.
Students residing in the damaged room have been reassigned to other living accommodations and will be in their new assignment by 1 p.m. today.
